I noticed that my epg seemed to be updating at odd hours. I had scheduled it for 11a.m Eastern Standard Time (-5 from the standard GMT) and last night, it was updating at about 11p.m. I recall that when I first installed a version of gbpvr, there was place where I had to enter "-5" but I can't find that spot on the program in version 1.0.16. My windows clock correctly displays the time. Note that I use a program called automachron to keep the windows clock on time (as set by the standard clock in Ottawa) as the computer clock would otherwise slow down.

It is only a problem for scheduling: my recordings that are scheduled for 8p.m are recorded at 8p.m. etc. I can work around the problem by scheduling the EPG update to be 12 hours out so it isn't an urgent problem. I am just curious as to whether I have missed a setting somewhere.

Zip and attach all your GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log files and I'll take a look.

I verified that I was correct. The EPG scheduled update for 1p.m. is not currently updating at 1p.m. However, I am still getting a full 14 days listings so it will update sometime today. I have attached the logs. As stated before, it is just the timing of the updating of the EPG that is out of sync as the recording are being recorded at the correct times (although I did get an instance of the problem posted elsewhere where the name of the show to be recorded in the TV Guide (Smallville at 12a.m. on Sunday November 4th on channel 65 YTV) is not the same as that listed in showing pending\recorded on Sunday November 4th on channel 65 YTV (Cg Kids: The mystery of the miramichi) but I can post that information on the other post once I find it).

According to your logs it successfully updated the EPG at the time you've configured it to. It updated your EPG, pulled in a large number shows, schedule new season recording episodes etc.

What is probably confusing you is the known bug where PVRX2 was continuing to use it's cached copy of the TV Guide until you next restarted the app. A fix was provided for this here: http://forums.gbpvr.com/showpost.php?p=2...stcount=25
