I noticed that my epg seemed to be updating at odd hours. I had scheduled it for 11a.m Eastern Standard Time (-5 from the standard GMT) and last night, it was updating at about 11p.m. I recall that when I first installed a version of gbpvr, there was place where I had to enter "-5" but I can't find that spot on the program in version 1.0.16. My windows clock correctly displays the time. Note that I use a program called automachron to keep the windows clock on time (as set by the standard clock in Ottawa) as the computer clock would otherwise slow down.
It is only a problem for scheduling: my recordings that are scheduled for 8p.m are recorded at 8p.m. etc. I can work around the problem by scheduling the EPG update to be 12 hours out so it isn't an urgent problem. I am just curious as to whether I have missed a setting somewhere.
