Team Fortress 2 is putting my job in serious jeopardy.

This is the first game I have been able to get excited about since Halo2. Portal is also very cool. I have not even launched Half Life 2 / Episode 2 yet. A damn good value for $50.00!

The 17 year old version of myself would be very happy to hear that I am still playing video games for 4 hours a day at 38 Big Grin

You young kids !! Smile Yes, I'm also playing HalfLife 2, Team Fortress and Portal. Great games, and I've got a few years on you. If they had video games like thsi when I was 17, I never would have gone outside.

My version is on the Xbox 360.

Hooked on WOW.
Barely have time for that, but I still manage a few way to late sessions on a work night.

10 yrs ago I could survive on game induced lack of sleep.
Now?

I fall asleep at my desk If I don't get 7 hrs sleep two days in a row.

Yeah, the Orange Box is awesome. Portal is the most original game I've played in a long time and a nice break from the traditional FP game. I just started Episode 2 and will probably fire up Team Fortress 2 soon.

This day job and family are really getting in the way of my game time, and there are just too many excellent titles coming out that I want to play. Besides finishing this one and BioShock there' Crysis and Hellgate and so many others...

Darn, to be 17 again!

Time is a problem for us older gamers. On a good weekday I may get an hour to play TF2, on a weekend day maybe 2 or 3 hours. I'm getting my ass handed to me by 12 year old snipers who play for 6 hours a day, 7 days a week.

My girlfriend says she doesn't like the look on my face when I play TF2. She says I look "violent" - lol

Bioshock - Excellent
Hellgate - Just started, but love it already. It's like Diablo, but 1st person and some classes have guns (for those of us that felt magic would be easier if it just had a trigger)
Timeshoft - Very good/Very fun, but unless the game is huge, it's going very quickly set on medium.

Yeah, I got Orange Box too. Not much a big gamer anymore, but I'm so addicted to this game. The funny part is that I installed it on my GB-PVR HTPC so I have to battle the wife for the TV. I'm 30 years old for the record. Smile

On this note, are there any command line switches for SNDVOL32.EXE (Windows Volume) to set volumes? I usually way lower the volume before going into TF2 and then the volume is too low for GB-PVR when I forget to put it back. It would be neat if I could use something like a "SET MAIN VOLUME 85%" switch for SNDVOL32. I could then create a batch file that would do this and then launch GB-PVR.

I have the orange box, beat ep 2, however, no little rocket man achievement Sad.

I love portal, and I want a companion cube of my very own.

I have yet to really get into TF2 (which is a good thing since I would be playing way to much)

I am going to get a 360 soon, and then I need to send my wii in to get fixed... damn connect 24 frying my GPU Sad
