Our team went 6-0, undefeated. We had our season ending banquet.

One of the kid's dad was a photographer and took out team pics and action shots.

Here we are, what a motley crew...

Not bad. Looks like a middle school team but it's hard to tell with the photoshop work. Small team, must have some stars to be that good.

My daughter's on the high school freshman volleyball team. They finished up a week or two ago. 29-0 - Sweet season.
Sure is fun watching the kids play.

5th-6th graders. Not officially part of the the school athletic dept. (Just loose affliation.)

We had 39 players in that age bracket, and we divided into two teams (which our league allows) so more kids get playing time.

For those that don't know, American football is played with two units of 11 players on the field (Offense, and then Defense) so that means a perfect team size would be 22+enough for substitutions and whatnot, we had 20. We are one of the smaller programs in our area, and beat the "Big boys", a program that fields 4 teams of about 25 players.

We had one sixth grader, number 45, that is about 5'8" and 180 lbs. All our "big" guys are in the middle row on their knee's. #64 is about the same size and is a 5th grader.

Ages are 10-12.

My boy is middle linebacker, in the front row with the missing fingers. (birth defect).

Ahh, pop warner team. Makes more sense.
Our HS team is off to the playoffs next week. 64 teams in Div1 64 in Div2. 6 week tournament.
NCAA take note, this is the way it should be done...
