From .5 survival guide
A bug has been found in multi-tuner environments that can cause the first of recording in back to back recordings to cut short. Its resolved by applying the attached patch.

oh crap, I am in sooo much trouble.

Does anyone has the last 5mins of the Classical Star final that was on this evening that they could make available to me?

It just had to be the final didn;t it...

cheers

Sorry - I can't help but you might try the BBC iPlayer route - it may be available as a 'watch again' download. Unfortunately DRM'd so you can only watch it throught the iPlayer at a PC.

Do you own a VCR? My wife's a teacher and there are so many teaching resources at her college archived on VHS, we have to keep one. It doesn't ever get used for recording stuff at home these days but useful, however, on the occassions when my GB-PVR setup has failed. We just ask around friends/family that may have recorded a crucial episode on tape.

Best I can do - sorry.

Cheers,
Brian

Ah yes, iplayer - I am a registered user but I think I uninstalled it a while ago (not that impressed) - that may be the answer.

The VCR is in the cellar, where it will remain!

thanks Brian.

I registered during the latter Beta stages and the download manager ramped up so much CPU time, it trashed a recording being made with GB-PVR.

For the moment, I've consigned IT to the cellar and will maintain the VCR. Smile

Good luck - hope you can find a solution.

Cheers,
Brian
