Hello, I don't know if these are stupid questions or not so... here goes.. I have gbpvr working great with 2 pvr-150 cards (server) and 2 mediamvp's. I was thinking of getting a HDhomerun for QAM (charter analog cable) to use along with the PVR-150's. Can the HDhomerun content still be seen/used on my older televisions with the mediamvp's? I dont care if it's in Hi Res or not, I will get an HDTV later (when I can afford it) I just wanted to use the HDHomerun for the time being.....

Thanks for the quick reply...so I can easily add the HDHomerun ...like HDHomerum+ gbpvr server (2 PVR-150's)-----> MediaMVP(s)----> (2) older 31" analog tv(s)?

On other words: I can watch+ record live QAM tv fine on my older set?

You won't be able to watch QAM or ATSC HD content as livetv and depending on what you use as a mux you could have difficulty watching recorded HD content too. My PC is able to transcode recorded mpeg-ts files in real time at 1080i, but not DVR-MS so that ability will be based on the speed of your computer. If you decide to use the Cyberlink mux the mpeg file won't be watchable so you will have to add some post-processing to watch it later.

The other issue is the audio from QAM and ATSC is usually AC3 so you probably will have trouble with SD content audio and live tv. mvpmc will decode it but it will be out of sync

So, my best bet is : gbpvr HTPC connected directly to HDTV via VGA cable to view live HDTV+analog cable from HDhomerun+ PVR-150?
