EPG from DVB-T for PVR-350 + WLAN

Hi,

I have 2 Problems/Questions related with EPG.

1. I have a DVB-T and a PVR-350. With both cards I can receive the same Programs. Since the EPG from the DVB-T card is getting a lot more information I wonder if i can use the Data for the PVR-350 too. At the moment I am using XMLTV.

2. My Internet Connection is via WLAN, so it takes some time before I get Internet Access. I am afraid that is not enough to receive the data, if I use the automatic wakeup. I am using TVXB.

By the way the wakeup for getting EPG, what do I need to do to first download the xmltv with tvxb and then get the EPG ready. I guess I do need any answers to Point 2 if Point 1 works somehow

Unfortunately no. There is a way to do this for DVB-S devices but not DVB-T. I'll probably add a mechanism to do this for DVB-T in the near future.

I do have an early version of the utility that will do this with DVB-T, but I need someone to test it.

Basically it extracts the DVB show listings to an xmltv file.

I give it a try if you like. I can post the logs also, but I am afraid I will be not much help since I am not into programing.

What about Point 2 any sugestions?

If you create an UpdateEPG.bat file, then it'll be run before the EPG update occurs. You can run whatever commands you need to in there.
