Any updates on this. Seem to be getting the same problem on most of my DVB-T recordings also in the UK. I posted about it in this thread

http://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.php...t=timeline

At the time I thought it might be a comskip problem but now I'm not so sure. I've also noticed that pausing and unpausing sometimes causes me to jump around by a few secs in the recording ie it doesn't restart from where it was paused. Anyone else seeing this behaviour?

If it is a timestamp problem, then pretty much all you can do is try other mux filters to see if you can find one that works better for you.

It must be a timestamp something or other. I notice it most in the ITV channel. After around 45 minutes skip forwards actually goes backwards and I have to use the number keys to skip forward a number of minutes.
I'm slowly working through mux's at the rate of around one a week, but not found one that improves things yet. Irritating - especially as I never see it on the problematic PVR150 (now is that more prevalent with NTSC?)

Yes, if I recall correcltly, it only happened to one of the ntsc versions.

Have you tried dvr-ms? I don't think I had the timeline problem using that, but it had its own problems (mainly that the quality didn't seem as good to me on livetv). I may revert to using it though depending on which issue I decide is the bigger one!

Any other UK users getting these problems or not getting these problems and can recommend a mux filter to use?

I haven't tried dvr-ms. Something in the back of my mind is telling me to keep away from it, but I can't think what!.

dvr-ms is the only way i get perfect ( or very close to it) digital recordings
even different tuners doesnt seem to help the time line is still wrong
the down side is you cant stream dvr-ms thats probably why you wont like it

I'm currently trying the ATI mux.

I'm sure I tried dvr-ms this morning to see what immediate downside and it streamed fine to my client PC's.

bollocks unless something has changed in the past week you cant of been using streaming
you must have been using file sharing

that said if you did get it going iwould like your setting as mine wont strean dvr-ms files while recording or even after they have been recorded

if anyone can confirm what does or does not work would be good

You must be doing something wrong then Big Grin I have always used streaming mode to client PC's except when trying something out as a fix and I tried again today and I can watch live TV using dvr-ms mux and streaming on the client.

What I can't do is watch a recording in progress, the client just closes.
