Not sure if I did the above right...

Tried the new .dll, no difference.

I have to clarify - It doesn't want to load files from the load content screen with the image and detail boxes checked. I just uncheck those, then they will load, and once I go to the manage content tab and manually key in the title. After I do that, it will load the details and images fine. The filenames are hit and miss, some contain the movie title, some don't, just initials or some such. None of them are _just_ the titles, though, there's always some extraneous stuff. Some I have to actually key the whole title in, others just deleting the trailing crap is enough.

I'm guessing it would work if the filenames were just the title of the movies, but it's just as easy to key the title in on the manage content tab.

Otherwise, it's working great. It's great to be able to get some info on the movies. Some of them I'm not sure what exactly they are, and it's so much better to be able to look it up from the couch.

Thanks Again!

There is some logic in the file load that parses the filename and attempts to get a best match for the title. In some cases we get a hit, others you need to do manually as you are doing on the manage tab.

Just installed 1.0.11.2. Looks great.

Can someone tell me how to set it to remember where I last watched a movie so that I can resume it rather than start from the beginning again?

I believe in the GBPVR config program, on the last tab, there is an option to prompt for resume.

Is the scraper for TheTvDB.com working for everyone ok? Even if I manually edit my entries to series name|episode name the manager never finds anything for me (description or logo), although I can see them on the website itself.

Can you give me some examples, and I will check it out.

Background: My GBPVR/MVP server sits on top of a cupboard in the hallway, while it has a keyboard, mouse & monitor attached I have to climb up a ladder to use it. This is normally not a problem for most things as they only take a short time to do, but I really can't see me standing there getting all my movie data into MovieWiz.

I found this in a search I did
"Added Client mode. If running on client, you can in the config set the program to read the DB located on the server. Note, you MUST store ALL your movies (and local thumbnails) with UNC names."

Unfortunately my test/development machine is setup as a separate GBPVR machine & not a client, is there any way I can access the DB on the server without having to stand on a ladder?

perhaps I have missed something here (it is late) but can;t you just access your gbpvr server remotely using VNC?
