Its not one I remember.
Reproduce the problem then zip and attach the logs and I'll take a look.

I cant see any obvious errors in there. Was it on the MVP or PC?
I did notice there was a lot of VA skin messages. Its seem to be continuously reloading its skin. It might be worth removing the plugin temporarily to see if has any effect on the problem.

I see this one from time to time. Most often it happens if the MVP was left on after playing Net Radio. If I select "Stop" on the remote and then come back later in the day, the screen saver will not release the screen. Each key press on the remote (any key other than power) will just make the screen saver logo jump to another position. I just hit the power button and restart the MVP.

I get this same problem sometimes when the screen saver kicks in while playing music, and I don't use an MVP. Most button presses just make the screen saver image skip around instead of exiting, while calling another module does exit the screen saver. I did not have this problem in the pre-1.0 versions, BTW, just since the screensaver feature was reintroduced in the last version.
If I spot it again I'll try to grab the logs.

I was finally able to capture the log files when this was happening. I pressed keys on the remote several times starting at 2007-12-11 12:29:21.571, as you can see in the MVP-PVRX2.exe-2.log file. The only response on the TV screen was that the GBPVR logo jumped to a new position with each key press.
The MVP was last playing a Net Radio station, then I stopped it using the stop button on the remote, but left the MVP powered on overnight. Today I had to power cycle the MVP to get to the menu. Dongle is the Oct. 14 version of mvpmc. 1.1.5 version of PVRX2. Hope this helps!

I also have problems with the screensaver in 1.1.5, typically after a resume from standby. Sometimes it will not go away and just displays the logo in a different place on each button press (as described above) and sometimes it doesn't react at all. The only solution in the latter case is to close GBPVT (Alt-F4) and restart it. The next time it happens to me, I'll have a look at the logs.

i also experienced this after the screen saver kicked in after listening to music and i alt-entered the window to do something in windows, then alt-entered back to full screen which is when the screen saver couldn't be turned off..
