Need help been struggling to figure this out for days

No matter how much of an offset i apply to the listings the tv guide still displays shows 4 hours ahead of schedule. i have tried everything and have came up empty on several searches on the forum. somebody please lend a helping hand if you could

Whereabouts is this timezone setting in the config app? I've been searching and can't find it anywhere.

Using latest GBPVR on XP in Brisbane, Australia with oztivo data and everything is 10 hours out. Have set the offset in capture sources but it makes no difference.

There is no timezone settings in the config app. I'm talking about the Window's Timezone set in the Control Panel.

I've checked my windows timezone, its set to brisbane (GMT + 10).
My ozTivo data is in GMT format
I've been empting and reimporting the epg between changes
Have tried setting the capture card offset to 00:00 and 10:00
Displayed and Web EPG are always 10hours out. Its like it not applying any offset to the EPG.

Looks like the data is at fault to me. If no timezone reference is specified in an xmltv file, then the time is assumed "localtime". I doubt ']Deal or No Deal' is really on TV at 7:30 in the morning?

The xmltv file should be specifying times like "20071207073000 GMT+1000" if they're not localtime.

Makes sense - I manually edited the xml file to test with one change - it shopuld be GMT+0000 since the file is in GMT time

That worked, everything display's perfectly now - Thanks! I'll probably use ICE TV in the furure anyway, which does set the GMT offset.

p.s Hope I don't appear a whinger because I'm really impressed with GBPVR, the epg was the only part I was tripping up on. Its way ahead of anything else on windows and I prefer its handling of LiveTV to the way MythTV does it.
