Some of my listings are not in numerical order (using SD) I also had about 4 duplicates from when I used Zap2It that I cannot delete - deleted all the linups in the capture devices and the 4 were still hanging around in the channel listings.

Channels will stick around through "deletion" if there are any recordings tied to them.

SO, I have to either watch and delete the recordings or just delete them, then I can get it straightened up?

I haven't deleted any channels, and the order is correct in Config, but in GBPVR many are out of order. (8, 47, 57, 68, 15, 48, 55 for example) Is there a "sort" function or something?

I know the deleting the Source in Config and re-defining it will fix the problem for a while, but I lose all my scheduled recordings, and the issue seem sto come back after a few days anyway.

I'm using the MSN scraper for EPG, and the XML file is in the correct order too.

Help please!

wscrivens, I suspect your issue is due to the format of the xml file. It is probably an issue of the order of the display-name tags. Post a sample
section and I could tell you for sure.

Here it is...

<tv generator-info-name="MSN_XMLTV_DownloaderV0.56" source-info-name="tv.msn.com">

<display-name>2 (WPBT) PBS</display-name>

<display-name>3 (WPTV) NBC</display-name>

<display-name>4 (WTVX) CW</display-name>

I can post the whole section if you like. the channel numbers are in ascending order.

Thanks!

Not necessary. Your snippet told me what I needed to know. It was not the issue that I thought it was.

I am having this problem also.

My tv listings are in the correct order in the Config file, but are displayed in random order in the PVR.

I manually deleted all the channels in Capture Sources tab, and clicked Empty EPG. I ran the Tuning Assistant, and clicked Update EPG. They are still all messed up. Help!

What EPG source are you using?

Isn't it the "channels" bit of config that determines the order they appear on the TV Guide rather than in the "source" tab??
