After thinking about it, .Net 3.0 would not have changed the ehepgdat.dll file version. Check the version of that file on your system and let me know what the version number is. It should be located in c:\windows\ehome

Hi, I am running MCE2XML_GUI using Headend info from various sources. When I do 'Donwload Listings' it says it finds 535 channels mapped and creates an XML file of arround 62 meg, looks nicely filled up. I then open the XML file in a text editorand do a search for a known channel, CCTV-9 for example, it finds the Channel id and display name section, at the head of the xml file but there is no programe data for CCTV-9. This happens also for quite a few other channels, Film24, Zone Thriller, etc. If I try various different Headend's it just gives the same results, No programe data. Does anyone know the reason for this and a way to fix it?

Kev, is there an online guide that has your listings that I could look at the channels? Also is there somewhere that you can upload a copy of the output file? If not, pm me and i'll arrange an upload location.

I got the file and I am attempting to find the issue. Could I ask you to supply me with a copy of your raw MCE xml file? it should be located in the following folder:

windows xp media center edition 2005
version: 5.1.2715.3011 (xpsp(wmbla).061009-1511)
update rollup 2

it's is the ser4vice pack 3 rc1 that was released on msft site in december

That makes more sense. I'll take a look at it as soon as I have a chance. If they have not changed the API, it should be a quick fix.

jjaomni, After looking at your original post, you are actually trying to use the Vista version of the downloader, not the 05 version
