Sorry I must have screwed up the packaging. Download xrecord and you will find the latest fastfind the missing dll in there that you can copy out. I will fix the fastfind package.

Jorm,
Added the zapinterface.dll file from xrecord. All is well now.

BTW how does xrecord integrate with the me-skin? I really like that skin (after having used red sky for over a year), but my videos is not exactly what I like.

jorm i downloaded it after you posted
[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]the new fastfind should include and require a dll called zapinterface.dll, if you use xmltv it is not used but still is looked for. It should be in the zip from wiki just unzip it to gbpvr.
and before MaBo's post and it the dll was in the fastfind package.

glad it is working now.

As for skinning of my plugins, I have not made them really skinnable yet.

If you want to use another skin just copy it from blue or redsky. I am planning on making them more skinnable.

Jorm,
Are you still looking into using the telephone-style alphabet input for fastfind? A little while ago we had some chatting about incorporating the selection scheme in jukebox into fastfind.

I would really like that!

I just added it for the next release. I do not have a remote near be but I think (based on the jukebox code) that 0 is used for z and q only. and 1 is not used for anything.

I made 1 used for a space.

Should I change 0 to be delete last character?

1 and 0 are "empty", you can use them for space and delete last char. i would use 0 for space.

2 = abc,
3 = def,
4 = ghi,
5 = jkl,
6 = mno,
7 = pqrs,
8 = tuv,
9 = wxyz

You are talking about the current keyboard string?

right now it is just 30 spaces down from the top of the widget.
I can make it configurable but should move with the keyboard.

I know about the buttons and apologize.  I hope to fix them eventually.
