I've tried in all the common places. I can't find where to put the little green orb 'task images' to get it working for the MovieWiz and SearchWiz selections. can you tell me the MovieWiz.png, task.png correct folder locations so they show up in Community3?

It has to be called "Movie Wizard.png" (yeah I got caught as well until I worked it out :o) I'm not sure where taskimages go in Community3 but for other skins just put it in the _TaskImages directory.
Yes, I tried looking for various folder names for this plugin. I may have tried that name. Normally the task.png goes in the plugin folder in the respective skin folder and the plugin_name.png goes in the _TaskImages dir. The funny thing is the location for that last folder in my comp was in skins\basic. So I copied it to community 3 in skins2 and got most images working. I will double check on the name you provided tonight and thanks for your advice.
Jaggy you're a star. That name worked. Now all the task icons show. As you know there's always a penultimate problem. I wonder if you know how to resposition or edit the size of task images on the background. My animated menu overlaps the task icon by about 1 cm.

I'm not feeling the best at the moment so bear with me if this doesn't make sense.
As I said before I don't know for Community3 but for normal skins you edit the settings below in the skin.xml found in the menu directory
Just started playing with this tool and have a few questions:
1. The Fugitive - downloads a weird image
2. Closely related, is there a way to cycle through all the images available and chose the one I want, not just taking the default? (Not just change the sort location and try each one at a time) For example MediaPortal will download all the images (from imdb) and then lets you chose which one you want.
3. can I change the view so that it is like "my videos"? I prefer to see the listing of videos the way I saved them on the disk (already sorted by dirs and names, etc). Then when I click a button (i on the remote) it brings up all the imdb info.
Thanks for the work on this other than the few things above I like the tool immensely

Currently, you'd have to do a search one at a time. You don't have to change the sort order, you can just pick the target site via the Lookup Image combo box on the Manage tab.
I choose not to download all the images to improve load time and disk space. That said, it may be possible to provide a mode where all will be downloaded (so you can cycle thru), and at config shutdown, the unselected images would be deleted.
If that sounds like it would work, let me know and I'll put it on the TODO list.

Unfortunately no. The listings are not presented based on the disk structure, it is based on the categories setup in the db. You could possibly setup catagegories for your shows, and have them be auto-marked at import time. That way all your shows for specific series would be catagorized under specfic headings for each series (ie. Lost, Heroes, Seinfield,...).
