Hi
I've got my server going into standby and the MVPs sending WOLs to wake it and it all works fine. However, I have at least one MVP that I completely power down rather than putting into standby so when I power it up it can't load the dongle, presumably because the server is asleep. I'm assuming there is no way around this other than not powering it down - would I be right?
Cheers and thanks in advance.

I think you're down to the firmware in rom at this point and it doesn't do WOL.

Yeah, that's what I thought. It's so annoying when you are so close to the perfect solution. I hate it when things are left in standby for days on end with those little power adapters on.

Thinking back, wasn't there talk of tweaking a router that had open source software to listen for the MVP making it's request and then send a WOL to the server.
Sounds possible but not something I'd like to tackle!
