I've starting using ML2, and am getting huge logs on scanning the music files.

Any help on getting rid of this error will be helpful -- my logs files are 500MB+!

Hi Psycik,

haven't seen any update on this thread yet -- I've enabled stupid logging, nuked the database, and re-indexed.

Strangely enough my .db3 file never gets larger...it stays at around 5MB no matter what happens.

The initial db scan went fine (see notes that all is found) but the MLUpdater that starts afterwards just throws errors.

Which version are you on? the 6.7? Hopefully you are. And which pvrx2 version? Hopefully 1.1.5.

If so remove those policy.taglib etc files - and move taglib-sharp to musiclibrary2 directory.

I can't tell, it looks like you're on an older version, I've seen that error before but can't remember how it was fixed.

Thanks for the ideas, I've deleted the policy*.config and policy*.dll files.

I downloaded the 6.7beta and am running latest patches on GBPVR.


From my gut feeling, the database is not being updated, but really can't tell from here. The inital load works, but when MLUpdater starts, it bombs out.

try turning off "External updater" then running a scan from the config app, and see if that makes any difference. I can't see it since all the code is the same, but you never know.
