I have updated Guide2J
Download Guide2J

You can now setup guides through the settings in the config app. If you have already created guides I only made one setting change: the Default attribute values were (0 or -1) now they are (Flase or True).

Remember you need FastFind and CDKScheduler in the GBPVR root directory.

There is a problem with creating the scheduler priority file right now. It is in FastFind. When that get's fixed the Guide will be able to create CDK scheduler priority files.
I forgot to tell Jorm about the change I made. Sorry.

FYI: I'm working on a verical timeline guide that will be a part of Guide2J

Note: This is a new plugin so there could be bugs. I know of none. Any reported issues was always resolved by having the latest FastFind and CDKscheduler in the GBPVR directory

Brilliant plugin, I wonder if sub ever thought things would take off like this?

Just a quick question : Is there a known problem with viewing schedules after the end of the month? I get nothing after midnight on the 28th Feb.

Do you mean viewing programs in the guide on March 1st.

I works for me.

What are the symptoms - an error, blank screen, can't move the focus of the show past Feb 28th 12:00?

Does the base guide have the same problem... It could be that you have no more data.

The normal guide works OK, all programs are listed for the next 14 days.

The Guide2J doesn't list programs that go over midnight of the 28th Feb. Just to be clear:
1. If the program ends before midnight it is listed.
2. If it starts before midnight and ends after midnight it is not listed.
3. Nothing else is listed after midnight on any channel.

I can email snapshots if you wish. There are no error messages, nothing in the logs.

I'm not getting that problem at all, either are others I know that are using it.

I will put more (some) infomation in the log.

If you are willing, can you compress, zip up and e-mail (jrockintuitive@yahoo.com) me your access DB-- I will understand if you do not want to do this. I would be a little uncomfortable with that myself.
Or- give me your zip code - and forgive my ignorance - or whatever is used outsided the states.

I went through my code and could not find any issues on how I'm dealing with dates.

I've installed GBPVR with Guide2J from wiki on my work computer and I can see all programs within GBPVR.

I will put more log info in the Guide ASAP.

Thanks... I loaded it up here at work to take a look.

I found a few of things....
1. It seems that I'm spoiled with zap2it- you have a lot of holes in the guide and guide2j doesn't like missing information. I will fix that ASAP.
2. I do see data past midnight tonight. What language setting do you have in windows (need for date formatting) - I doubt that is the case but you never know.

The screen shots did not come through on my yahoo mail. Can you zip up the screen shots and send.

Thanks.

I've sent the screenshots to your email account

Language setting is UK, Timezone GMT. Date format Day-Month-Year.

Let me know if I can help further

I can reproduce it now, thanks.

When I changed my date format... poof, I have the same problem.

I will fix it.
