SchedulesDirect Utilities 1.0 Released

Ok, so I tried running it manualy, and it tells me its not a recognized program or command. I noticed the one guy who mentioned he built it in VS. is that something I need to do? Cause if so, im even more lost. I just unzipped the file into the gbpvr directory and created the postepgupdate.bat file with my credentials.

I hate to keep sounding like a complete newb, and I really appreciate your help on this!

You should have downloaded the compiled program and files located here.

Then unzip this file to your GBPVR directory (not the web directory the GBPVR directory)...if you used the default install that will be c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr.

Then run the command.....since you got the not recognized program or command then you must not have unziped to the correct folder or you may have downloaded the source code instead....which is what you would do if you wanted to compile it on your own.

Hizah! That was my problem (i was just unzipping the source files). Ive got it installed, and will see if it works tonight at 2 when the epg updates!

Ok, it installed, and I can see it in EWA. The new guide information shows up in the EWA guide, but I do not see anything in PVRx2 guide that denotes a new episode. Any thoughts?

Yep....GBPVR does not support the extended data. Over time sub has incorporated some of the extra data that is available globally via all EPG sources....but he stays away from EPG items that are inherent to just one EPG source or are very inconsistent in use.....thus I enabled EWA to be able to get the extended data via a seperate source specifically for ShedulesDirect data.
