UPnP Control Point Plugin

I would like to write a UPnP (with DAAP compatabilty if all goes well) Control Point plugin for GBPVR. This would give you the ability to play media (music, videos, potentially even internet TV shows when paired with the right server) from a UPnP server.
Any interest in this type of plugin for GBPVR? Anyone else working on something like this?

Upon further research, this may end up being a DAAP client (protocol used by iTunes as well as several media servers for streaming media) based on the having code examples for DAAP as well as a C# SDK.

What about using the native upnp support from Windows Media Player 11?? The issue is getting the Recordings information into WMP11

Interesting... I am mostly interested in being able to access my music files being shared by either a UPnP or DAAP server. I will have to look into this further.

You caught my interest, but I am trying to understand how it would be useful. This would allow me to fire up GB-PVR on my PC and use it to have my DSM-520 play music from my media server? Anything else you have in mind?
