Build 74 of EWA has been released. You can download it here or on the wiki.

This release replaces the Ajax processing library with the ASP.Net Ajax library which is now become a very robust development platform that EWA will take advantage of in the future.

NOTE: Do not delete the AjaxPro.2.dll file from your bin directory....otherwise you will invoke the wrath of the GBPVR installer repair process and overlay EWA with the shipping version of EWA (Build 66). The next GBPVR release will not have the AjaxPro2.dll file in the install so you won't need to worry about this following the next GBPVR release.

Date: 2008-02-24 Build Number: 74 Changes:
  • UncleJohnsBand: Moved AJAX processing library from the AjaxPro library to ASP.Net Ajax library.
  • UncleJohnsBand: Added the display of selected recording days for Season Recordings when displaying the Manage Recordings page in Table view mode.
  • UncleJohnsBand: Added the display of selected recording days for Season Recordings when displaying the Details pop-up.
  • UncleJohnsBand: Changes only in CSS based pages:
    • Correct Season Recording issue that caused Manage Recording screen to crash in Treeview mode.
    • Correct Season Recording issue that prevented the channel from being displayed in Treeview mode.
    • Correct Season Recording issue that was showing an Aire Date (ad) for season recordings instead of the wording Season Recording.
    • Correct Season Recording issue that prevented the display of Season Recording details which allows the updating of Quality and Padding for Season Recodings.
    • Correct issue that did not honor the users selection of Icon only or Text only for the channel info in the Guide.

  • UncleJohnsBand: CSS General Notes:
    • CSS Note: To access CSS based screens use guide2.aspx as your start page.
    • CSS Note: CSS screens are coded in strict standards mode. This will make future updates easier and provides the best cross-browser (Firefox / IE) compatibility. However, this also means that the CSS sceens will only be fully supported by IE 7 and FireFox. Some screens will not work correctly in IE6. Sorry.
    • CSS Note: CSS screens are optimized for screens with 1024x768 resolution or higher. Lower resolution will just cause more scrolling on some screens.
    • CSS Note: Please post feedback/bugs in the EWA CSS Guide sticky thread located in the EWA support forum.

One thing from me:

IS theer any way you could wrap the text in the columns in Manage recordings (or I could manage the widths). The newly added (THANK YOU, there's a couple of us like it!) days in the Air Date column seem to push the other columns too far right, when it goes Monday, Tue.....~... Sunday?

That's strange: I'm running 1280x800 and have no problem with this.In fact there is a lot of space empty on the right side of the screen.

Edit: in IE6 it looks the same

Well, I have to scroll right, unless I change IE7 fon't size down one with the scroll wheel. This is not the point though, it's more that one line Mon~Sun is pushing the column width wider, all my other ones have one day. If that line could wrap then the width would seem more natural to me (and I would not have to scroll right). I see you have many Mon~Sun but I think the philosophy with the proportions remains the same.

Very strange....I can not duplicate this on my machines....the fonts are controlled via the style sheets so changing the font size via IE should not really make it change.
