Cheers and thanks for the help. Look forward to the updates.

The channel exclusion facility is magic by the way.

Got a problem, getting an error as follows:

Error: method not found: FastFindPlugin.DatabaseHelper
FastFindPlugin.DatabaseHelper.getInstance().

I get this just tryint to open the guide. I have the FastFindPlugin.dll (60.0Kb mod date 04 Feb 2005), of don't know where I'm suppose to get the RecordingUtil.dll file from, what pkg or plugin has that?

EDIT

Okay I figured it out, no indication on the Wiki page of pre-reqs. Perhaps developers could point that out on the Wiki page. Also the Guide looks good, but it has some problems.. I don't know what time the shows are coming on as the time line does not have the PM or AM or even military time as an indicator. The updated integrate TV Guide has that nifty wrap feature, I like that..

Over all the Guide2J is nice, I like the flexability, a lot.

John

I updated the guide on the wiki. I had not idea that there could be gaps in a guide. You should be pleased.

I fixed the non-us date issues for the end of the month. I would have to say that US needs to change our date format and go to the metric system. But can everyone please drive on the right side of the road.

I do plan on implementing the wrap around as well as vertical time-line.

I will make the time format skinable - I will make sure the default skin has AM/PM in it.

This is still a WIP. But I would appreciate if you try the fixed plugin and report any bugs.

I seem to be having a conflict with Guide2J and XRecord (newest version as of March 1).

Each of these plugins seems to require fastfind.dll in the GBPVR root directory. The newest XRecord requires the newest fastfind.dll (datestamp is March 1 2005), whereas Guide2J needs the prior fastfind.dll.

I assume something was revised in the fastfind.dll and the current version Guide2J has not made the appropriate revision it needs to keep up with it. jrockintuitive, please try the new fastfind.dll to see if there is a compatilibity issue.

I can't do all the checking that I would want to do at work. But I did install the latest XRecord and Guide2J for the wiki and it works here.

I will test more when I get home.

jrock,

No problem.. I realize it is a WIP.
Thanks for the plugin! I won't get to mess with the new one until this
weekend.

Cool and thanks for giving it a go.

I recently found out that I had issues with XMLTV and non-us folks.

I think I narrowed down the issues.

I also have a slight issues in scrolling pages - you probably won't even notice, but that will be fixed shortly.

I'm going to release a new version soon (weekend maybe) with vertical guides.

@d3cypher

I have the same problem:

[b Wrote:Quote[/b] ]Error: method not found: FastFindPlugin.DatabaseHelper
FastFindPlugin.DatabaseHelper.getInstance().

I get this just tryint to open the guide.  I have the FastFindPlugin.dll (60.0Kb mod date 04 Feb 2005), of don't know where I'm suppose to get the RecordingUtil.dll file from, what pkg or plugin has that?

How did you resolve this?
BTW I do have the RecordingUtil.dll file

TIA

You need the latest FindFast from the xrecord plugin dated 2005-03-01.

I plan to have a sneak preview of the vertical guide this weekend.
