SkinPlugIn3 hangs up during install

Perhaps this is related to 1.2.9, but I've just tried to install this for the first time and it hangs up right at the end while restarting the recording service. It does in fact restart the service and then just stops with it's progress bar at 100%.

I've tried it twice and just had to end task it.

And since I'm here, I can see that it copies files to the standard Blue directory and the Community3 directory. And I right to suspect that these files have probably not been updated for 1.2.9 yet and I've probably just taken a step backward?

I have had a couple of issues with the communityskin installation before but I think it has been my computer/hardware that was the issue. But, to solve the installation problem, I restarted my machine, stopped the recording service and closed the GBPVRTray icon and the install then went flawlessly.

As far as the community skin and 1.2.9, the current downloadable community skin from the wiki is compatible with the newest version of GBPVR.

I know the current community skin is compatible, but this plugin's installation appears to include at least some community skin and blue skin files. Since this hasn't been updated since 1.2.9, I'm wondering if installing this will cause a problem.

I reinstalled the Community skin after installing this plugin just to be safe, but it seems like it's an important question.

As far as I know, the SkinPugin only installs some Blue skin files in C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\skin2\blue\SkinPlugin so it can show the "non supported skin" error message.

edit: can you post a screenshot when it's in this state?

McBainUK is correct about what is deposited in blue. It also places a the skin files for the plugin in Community3 (but actually I shouldn't do this). My guess on what is hanging up is, it is taking a considerable amount of time to restart the recording service, or the recording service is having trouble getting restarted. That is the last thing to do before it asks on exit to start the config.exe program.

Another thread indicating issues with restarting recording service. I'll check things out tonight when I get home from work.
