I've had 1.1.5 running in NZ with a PVR150 and PVR150MCE great. I got sick of waiting for Freeview over DVB-T, so I added a Nova-S-Plus to the mix. I had to clear all the drivers during the install to get the Nova visible. All the cards are in the system and all are working well.
Unfortunately, recordings are not stopping. If I'm recording several channels at once, they just keep going until I notice, making 11hours or 21 hours of recordings. Other times, a recording will say it is recording, but stop part way through. Desperate Housewives on 2 (10/3/08) recorded for many hours, but created 12 minutes of viewable program, making me very unpopular.
I added the patch related to the stopping recordings, then noticed the new version. Unfortunately these haven't helped. I've scheduled a couple of daily restarts of the recording service to help stop any runaway recordings.
Until the new version, I have been using GBPVR, since the new version, I've been using PVRX2.
Would a complete box rebuild fix the problem? I've been thinking of a new case that's more appliance-like and could do it all at once. I'd be sad if I did a rebuild and the problem stayed around.

Attached log files include trouble period of last 7 days, but are missing today as machine is in use.

Thanks

Thanks

I can see an error in your logs which was fixed in 1.2.9, so the first thing I'd recommend is updating to the current release.

Yay for speedy responses. The logs cover a period of old version and new version. I did an in-place upgrade yesterday about 7pm. Maybe later. I was hoping the upgrade would fix the issue but it hasn't.
Perhaps a clean install rather than in-place?

Alrighty then, I've stopped all the services and closed the apps so I can get all the logs.
On the eveing of 11/3/08, there were a number of recordings scheduled. The news at 6 started, but didn't make it to the first add break. Southpark was on while House and Boston Legal were overlapping, but 3 cards should be fine, but Southpark didn't record. Neither did Boston Legal. MythBusters recorded for 2 1/2 hours. Derrin Brown started to record later in the evening, but it's now near on 12 hours later and the status tells me that the Nova is still recording it.
House and Boston Legal we watched in real time due to the uncertianty of the recording since adding the Nova.
Does slot order matter? I have the nova in the last of 3 slots. I'm using the ir from the Nova.

I cut some older log files out to fit the size restriction. They should be in the log.zip posted earlier.

To be honest, I'm not really sure what to suggest. Something isnt happy with connecting the drivers up.

Nothing cleans up problems like a clean install. Did a format and install XPP, all the dot nets, hauppague IR32, the gbpvr bits, and everything runs sweet as.
Perhaps it was some of the old media portal bits or the inplace upgrade that caused it.
