This system could only have been penned by a family man with a child and the holy WAF on the line. Bloody fantastic release! Easiest, fastest and best yet, and the best by far in its class (this comes from a long-time ex-Myth and ex-MediaPortal user).

I especially love the Music / Net Radio "Now Playing". I can't believe how helpful it is!

Is it just me, or do the main menu items seem more cramped than before? Meaning they are closer together. My sub-menus don't do this, just the main one.

There are seven items on the main menu now instead of five. It seems to bother a few people so I might change it back to five for the 1.3.x release.

We are a picky bunch aren't we. Of course we'll be bothered if you change it back too. :p All that really matters is if it bothers sub.

Why not add an option of how many items to display on the main menu. Unless it's hard coded and awkward to change on the fly via config.

That sort of scheme doesnt fit in well with the way some skins design elements into the background image in relation to where the items will be, so its better to leave it as an option for the skin designer to decide how many items will be displayed.
