I currently am running with a Hauppauge PVR-350 encoder. I want to add a second encoder so I can record two programs simultaneously. I plan to add a PVR-150.

I'm pretty sure that GBPVR can handle it but I can't find in the wiki where it discusses the issues in adding the second encoder.

Can you please point me in the right direction.

Just add the card to your machine, then setup a second capture source in the config app and you're good to go.

If two programs are being recorded simultaneously, will they both appear as red grids in the TV Guide and in TV Listings plug-in?

Thanks for the quick response.

I assumed that it works because of all the users that indicate they have multiple cards.

The card I found is a Hauppauge PVR 150 MCE Model 274 PCI card. It says it's the Media Center Edition. I am assuming that I can use this card with GBPVR rather than the more expensive PVR 150 PCI card model 1045.

I understand that the MCE one doesn't come with the remote control but I don't really need it for a card that is solely used to record programs. I view recorded programs with a MediaMVP.

Am I correct that the MCE unit will meet my needs?

UPDATE: I found in another thread that others with the exact same combination have it working.
