SUPPORTS_BDA_DISEQC in bda.ini with DVB-S

Hi,

I'm setting up a Compro Videomate s350 DVB-S, which does not have an entry in the BDA.ini.

I see that the other BDA cards have diseqc section- I will need to use diseqc. What is the significance of the number after SUPPORTS_BDA_DISEQC??

Diseqc support isnt defined in the BDA spec, so each and every manufacturer does it a different way. GB-PVR only implements diseqc support for the following manufacturers.

1=FireDTV legacy mechanism
2=FireDTV recommended mechanism
3=Hauppauge mechanism
4=Twinhan mechansm

These are the SUPPORTS_BDA_DISEQC values.

Compro would need to give me info about their diseqc API for me to implement support for it.

OK thanks. I will drop them an e-mail and ask if they are prepared to do it. In the meantime, I will stick to my Nova S+ for diseqc.
