I'm trying to update my epg using the MCE2xml plugin but I'm getting an error in my logs that state that the database is locked. What is it that I need to do for that?

Either stop and restart the various GB-PVR processes or reboot.

Set <LogSQL>true</LogSQL> in config.xml, then reboot and reproduce the problem, then zip and attach a complete set of logs.

Search the file for LogSQL & change the value from false to true

It shouldnt of fixed anything. That setting just causes it to add more messages to the log files.

I don't know. Maybe it was just the third or fourth (whatever it was) time of restarting that finally did something. All I know is I did what you said and when I tried to recreate the error by reloading the epg it actually loaded and I didn't get the error. Wish I could tell you more but I don't really know why. Do you want me to look and see if I have a log for it anyway so you can have a look.

Leave that <LogSQL>true</LogSQL> setting in place for now, and if it happens again in near future, then post the logs.
