03/28/08 : 1.0.13.0 (WizWebHelper.dll v1.0.5.2 WizUiHelper v1.0.15.5)
  • Plugin - Fixed bug related to Client mode. Did not sync up with the server db correctly.
  • Plugin - Fixed bug where RecordingScheduled was not getting refreshed. Side effect was not to show conflict dialog.
  • Plugin - Added ability to view Inset while performing searches
  • Plugin - Added Truncated description to program count label if program list reaches MaxProgramsReturned
  • Plugin - Made Filter list on main screen autowrap, ie there is no first or last entry
  • Plugin - Added list counter on Alternates (multiple hits) display
  • Config - Added 'EnableFilterAsList' to config, default true. In SearchWiz plugin, if set to false, the Filter control will display as a label instead of a selection list.
  • Skins - Changes to MovieInfoPopup.xml

What skin are you using?

I found a bug in the Community3 skin.xml file. If that was what you are using, download and re-install, or place the attached skin.xml in gbpvr\skin2\Community3\SearchWizX2 directory. Restart PVRX2, then it should work.

As stated in the wiki, V1.0.x Built and tested with GBPVR_v1_2_9 Requires the following DLLs in the Plugins/common directory:

* WizUiHelper.DLL
* WizWebHelper.DLL
* HtmlAgilityPack

How many of these 3 files are new to this version and in particular, the third. The link is broken so if I don't have it, I need to find a new source for it. I had the previous version working fine.

The most current versions of the 3 DLLs come packaged with the installer. Also, link is fixed, it takes you to the license of the HtmlAgilityPack.

Thank you. On my first attempt to install, it wasn't able to over-write one of the dlls and contrary to the instructions, I continued to install, thinking that I had the latest of that dll. However, the program wouldn't work, I rebooted and installed again and the missing dll was able to write.

I really enjoy this plugin's search features. I have one slight problem and I am waiting until I can reproduce it properly to provide more information and ask for help. One of my searches is for all recordable programs (ignoring the encrypted stations that creep in to my schedules direct programming). As you can imagine, the list is quite long but occasionally, it will come to a listing "'til death do us part" and freeze, possbily because of the apostrophe. Sometimes this show is listed under "B", sometimes "C", etc. Because it is so sporadic, I haven't been able to figure out what I did just before the ill fated listing appears. I should clarify that it is not a full freeze - I can still back out of the program but I can't see the listings that follow (and I am sure that at least one station has a show in the next two weeks beginning with a letter from D-Z!)

Make sure you are not stopping @ the 500th item in the list. There is a setting in the config that limits the list to n number of entries. If your search returns more, it is truncated. You can bump up that setting if you like.
