Can't start MVPServerchecker automatically

I have been using MVPServerchecker 0.46 for a while to kill the MVP Controller popup window and to raise the priority of the GUI. (Although my problems as such are with PVRX2 (which keeps crashing) so I am not sure if I need to ?) But my problem is that Mvpserverchecker does not start automatically. I have put a shortcut in my Startup folder and kept the original in the /devnz/GBPVR/MVPSC folder. As per the Wiki I made sure the GBPVR recording service can interact with the desktop. But at startup the server popup window stays open until I start MVPSC manually by double clicking on it.
I am using GBPVR 1.2.9 and have just upgraded to MVPSC 0.51 with similar results.

It sounds strange indeed. I have had the problem myself. I always thought it was connected to HIP, the new PVRX2 and the tray icon.

Although sub and I have looked at it breifly, and suppsoedly there is no way the new version of GB-PVR could be causing trouble, I still have my suspicions. Every new release, I've had to re release a newer versin of MVPServerChecker.

Any the very latest version, has it's checking code over hauled and does things differently, and yet I had that problem. I know that I had to edit the restart.bat that is in the gbpvr directory that restarts the service. I kill off everything and then restart it again...

But that wouldn't fix the computer startup.

Honestly, I don't know. Perhaps a delay batch file that would wait a few seconds to start the program.

I guess I could add the code that it would wait before starting to check for popups..
