It looks like Fandango provides trailers on movies that are coming soon. See http://www.fandango.com/trailers

However, my real reason for posting is to see if there is anything in the newest version that would mess up both the fandango and zap2it listings. Based on gazoo's post, I switched my listings from zap2it to fandango after confirming that fandango still uses the letter system. I have done everything but reboot and still I have a list of 4 out of 5 theatres listed in my config file, each with no flims and of course, no trailers. when I go to the other computer, I will amend to post my logs.

My cinema ids for fandango.com are AACIR,AANEH,AACIS,AAOJN,AAOJB,AATJM
I was using zap2it with the same ids but they have converted to a number system. I tried using 6124 and 5684 for zap2it.com to test out the new system but had the same results. It isn't your problem, but IMBD is not an option for the Canadians.

p.s. if the logs happen to tell you why I don't get sound on the trailers, please let me know - but I am pretty sure it is a problem with my computer and not the plugin. I had had 2 sound cards, the Soundmax on the motherboard and another one. When all the sound cut out, my brother-in-law took out the other sound card and now I have sound on gbpvr but not on the mov files.

Those log files are from another app (JavaWiz's dll I think) The logs I need can be found here: C:\Program Files\devnz\gbpvr\Plugins\InternationalCinemaListings\InternationalCinemaListingsPlugIn2.exe.log

Here is the revised log: looking at both the Fandango and zap2it sites, I noticed changes on both. The ability to access trailers, etc. I was wondering if it the changes to those websites was coincidental to the upgrade to 6.3 such that even if I hadn't upgraded, I would have lost access to the theatre listings.

I switched to IMDB for now since it does not seem to be affected.

Hiya,

firstly thanks for such a great Plugin!

I had some problems before with this Plugin and previous GBPVR versions but having done a major rebuild all seem to be working good now apart from a little bug that I can't work out.

I use the Community 3 Skin but this happens even when I default to the Blue Skin.

Please find snapshots attached.

Basically I get double listings for MOST trailers, the weird thing is not all of them.

Although not a major problem it would be nice to not have this Wink

Cheers

Can you zip and attach the following files from the gbpvr\plugins\InternationalCinemaListings\ folder:

InternationalCinemaListingsPlugIn2.exe.log
cinemas.xml
films.xml
showings.xml

Hi there,

I certainly can!

This should be what you requested. Have deleted the log, and just done a refresh, same problem still.

Cheers

This is a known bug (to me) which I forgot to fix for v6.3. Some of the films (27 dresses for example) are listed twice in the films.xml file. It's an easy fix, will bump it up the list for next release.

If you're interested in why, it's because easycinema.com sometimes mixes up the URLs for film details. The updater.exe checks for duplicate URLs before it scrapes the film info, I'm going to make it check for duplicate film titles as well in order to avoid this situation.
