commongbpvrutilities.dll should be included in the zip file. You need to copy it into the main gbpvr directory (for example c:\program files\devnz\gbpvr)

is was problem just a web error, timeout or something, it would have said in the gbpvr.exe.log the url used to lookup the info, if you tried that url in a browser and see what page it pointed to, you could test this. or it could have been the fact that scan uses google "i'm feeling lucky" where as if you just use imdb on a single video, it will search actually using the imdb search engine and can return multiple choices (scan is never going to be as good).

This is an old thread I know, and I apologise if there is already a plugin, but does any plugin actually perform this function automatically?

I know in XRecord you can go show to show and choose D/L Data, but I'd prefer it "dials home" automatically (TV Guide, IMDB etc) and hauls the info.
