well, i bought one and seeing as though no-one else has one (or you would have replied, wouldn't you!) i'll post my comments.

remote is excellent. can program up to 7 devices and even took care of my samsung virgin media / ntl remote which uses RC5 and not IR. it learns what it can by pressing a few buttons (to test the target device) and any button which doesn't work can be individually fixed by learning from the original remote.

from the off, the PC mode operated GBPVR fine - although the Guide button doesn't work (even though this button seemed to work fine in MCE).

anyone using their media PC for music can browse and play My Music folder and create playlists etc. from the remote without the TV being on and from anywhere with a signal (not good for me as my sound is routed via my TV then to AMP).

this remote connects to the PC via radio frequency which doesn't seem that good to me although the USB dongle is hidden away and plugged into the back of my media pc so hard to view. possible my telephones are interfering (or baby monitor - who knows!). a USB extension cable would soon sort this out, hopefully.

for anyone who doesn't need the LCD music bit or so many devices, this alternative philips remote looks decent and good value.
