Hey Fatman! (sorry I just wanted to say that...)

I have two questions.

1. It seems like the alpha tag only sometimes works... does it only work on the main menu?

2. the keep aspect ratio tag doesn't seem to work. I'm trying to make the tag false so that I can overlay a semi-transparent image over album art. But it seems to always want to keep the aspect ratio.

edit: more questions!

3. Is there an upper() function? Like convert all letters to capitals...

Correct, unless a plugin is designed with that ability(which I don't beleive there are), only the main menu uses them.

You are saying fixedAspectRatio="false" is not working? I can't help with that really, as that is what I would do. That would be something sub would have to address.

No, I don't believe so.

Working on a .Net helper library for skinning and I have a couple of questions:

1) NamedValues: Is the value always a number or can it be other types of data like strings?
2) Numbers: Various values are numbers throughout the skin like size, loc, etc. Would double values work for all of them or do any need to be floats (or does it not matter)?

AFAIK, They only apply to the those specific xml values listed in the baseskin.xml file and are not used any where else. Sub would have to answer beyond that.

I am not smart enough to know what you mean..:o

Most values are whole numbers, but size and location values can be decimal (ie 17.9,24.2)

If it's only related to the base skin it seems to be just numbers so I'll go with that until someone has issues.

What is the "macro" for the music library folder image?
I see @folderPreviewImage and @thumbnail
would it be possible to add the folder image to the screensaver?

I am beta testing a screensaver plugin that will do such. There is no "built in" method that I know of. You would have to ask sub if there is.
