in your skin i saw, that you use german xmltv-data. where do you get your data from? using xmltv with tv-grab-tv-today i get the original titles for movies and it makes it hard to schedule series-recording....so i went back to nextview-epg, but here i have the problem, that gbpvr "forgets" details after using this a few days... so i would really like to have an epg with subtitles and details...any ideas?

First off, i've just finished my exams and that is why i have not worked on the skin for quite a long time. But now i'm back to work and changed an important point. The skin will no longer be 4:3 NTSC but 16:9 PAL.
I'll will release a first version if i have finished the most important plugins (most important for me).

aurora/Mark: I will not post the 4:3 here as it is far from finished and at the moment i am working on the 16:9 stuff. But  if you like to go on with the development of the 4:3 version... this would be something we could talk about. And how is it comming? I think i liked the street skin (where i started from) but there were so many plugins that were not skinned (most were not skinnable as i found out later on). So i started a skin myself, with some of the elements i saw in the street to fix all the plugins i liked to have...

dottore: I'm using the TVMovie ClickFinder data for EPG (for all the channels you have to buy a licence for about 10 euro per year). TVM writes its data into a .mdb file. For conversion to XMLTV i use "TV Movie Datenkonverter" (TVM2XML if you search on google). From 1.15 on it also exports the subtitles correct and i can use the data for series-recordings without any problems. I also worked with nextview-epg before but i had problems over problems with it.

Hi Heyt,

I have pretty much been doing the same as you. I really liked the graphics used in the steet and am using that as a basis, but changing a few things around fixing bugs where I can and causing some new ones in other places. Started to get a bit frustrated with what you can and can not skin. I am only interested in the plugins for playing/schedualing/recording. Figured out how to get the remote to work with any software and am much happier using the actual acual applications than pluggins.

I have a particular problem in that I have to overscan my tv so that GBPVR displays properly, so I am configuring my skin to take this into account. This means squeezing things down so they fit. So, not sure anyone will be interested in using what I am putting together.
