Beat this, 1.7Ghz CPU & 256Mb ram!

I am happily running gbpvr and mvp to my tv, watching and recording at the same time, on an old headless machine with the following specs: (just to encourage anyone with an old box lying around)

Athlon XP 1.7Ghz processor
256Mb ram
320Gb hard drive
Windows XP SP2

Before you spend hours trying to troubleshoot big drive problems in XP SP2 will probably resolve any errors i.e. my bios/XP would only see 120Gb of my drive until I put updated to SP2.

Is anyone running the same scenario on an even lesser machine than my own?

i just wish my 3/8" thick sony laptop would play video over 320x480...

i think i'll make it into a elaborate picture frame and stick it on a wall..

oh and i am using a 1.8p4 for HD, AGP 4x & PC133 SDram..lol
and was using 256 meg ram for a while with my livecd gbpvr client...
worked great..seemed even more responsive than any full windows..

What is a 'sleeper'? Oh and it took quite long as I had to get my camera out...

This was my first system - processor was pretty nippy (for those days) - but it only had 32K of core memory (ram)

As you can see from all the buttons and knobs, tuning could be a bit of pain...

You might have to open the case to tweak the CRT to get the geometry set right...

I think all CRTs have POTs for GBPVR tweaks...
