i know yo have already tried hip but did you try setting it to
alternate input
hipis one of those programs that surprizes you and actually works when you think it wouldnt

what im thinking is if your device works with a keyboard there might be some way to comunicate with hip by inputing that way
i dont have your device but just looking at the link you gave me

I did find that EventGhost (automation tool) will allow me to repurpose some of the keys. But it's slightly klunky in that it detects the input from the HID device and then runs a macro. So it's actually possible to have GBPVR do one function for a given key and have EventGhost run an unrelated macro at the same time. Plus it only recognizes a small number of the remote keys in particular the ones that already have functions in XP Pro.

I just added support for the Gyration remote in the latest version of Intelliremote if you want to check it out. You can make your Gyration remote control pretty much any program in Windows and send either keyboard keys, mouse events, application events from a remote button on your Gyration.
