this is trying it on the same file once it was moved it started saying not in data base

i tried what you said but i probably did it wrong

what was i meant to adjust in tha batch file i thought it was just add the bits to config file

really feel like im missing something

i just updated the zip in first post with help for cmd line use as well as removed the attrib stuff....
just run it from cmd line to see usage...

also, did the file make it to destination? is it still appearing in gbpvr recordings screen?

that's a option you have to select, i beleive in config.exe Smile
doesn't have any effect on mine tho..

if you have a sqlite viewer, look at the database and see which one it's pointing to..
i bet it's the new one so you can't send it again, you'd have to archive the new copy...if that works ,then it worked, just didn't delete, which may be solved by the updated zip..

shoot...send me your config file and i'll fix it...
must be bad formatting, usually simply a < or > missing..
show me your config line for the profile...that may be the whole problem..

download a fresh one tomorrow...did a little rewriting to enable more safety..
if both the copy operation and sqlite don't complete, nothing gets deleted...
so movies not found in gbpvr db won't be deleted...
and adding more feedback of everything that's happening to help weed out errors in config without risk of deleting..

had to rearrange things a bit...error testing extensively tonight..will upload before morning..

first post now updated with newest version, many fixes, and cleanup of the logs a bit...
adjust your profiles in config if upgrading...

a quick way to test after setup is make a new tiny recording, and move it...
then try to play from recordings screen...
i also setup a 'restore' profile to move things back onto main system as well..Smile
