Hiya,

any news on the double listing trailer thing? Only asking as I now seem to have PVRX2 running very sweetly (touch wood) but my wife keeps asking me why some trailers are listed twice Big Grin

Have aso noticed in the last 2 weeks that some films don't seem to be getting a thumbnail image? Any ideas?

Once again many thanks for great plugin

Cheers

Sorry, havn't got round to it yet (I'm currently working on new plugin). Remind me in a week or two and I'll get a build out.

re: missing thumbnails - post the updater log and I'll take a look. Remember that they come from IMDB.com so if they havn't got any images for the partcular film then neither will the plugin.

Hiya again,

won't bother you with the updater log at the moment as it seems to have some tie ins with the double listings. I'm guessing would be easier to sort once the double listings have gone. Out of interest, perhaps, IMDB has an icon for film 'The Eye'. This film listed fine and d'loaded details but icon was missing. Went to IMDB, saved it to posters folder and voila I now have an icon for the film.

Would love to know what plugin you're currently working on and will give you a nudge in a couple of weeks Wink

Cheers

Hi,

I'm currently having a problem with ICL scraping details from IMDB for one film, 'The Eye'.

For some reason it is listed on IMDB as 'The Eye 2008/I)' and I guess this is causing some kind of confusion?

cheers

LOL, 'The Eye' has apparently done so badly in the ratings that my local Cinema lists it no more...

I've tried using this plugin. I live in Canada, so I can't get listings from IMDB. ZAP2IT won't work (there 5 digit code is 4 digits for me and doesn't work). I can get it to pull up my local cinima in fandango, but it doesn't list any movies or showtimes, only the theater. Any suggestions?

Zap2it and Fandango have recently changed their sites and broken the scraper. Until I'm able to get an update out it looks like Candadians will have to miss out as IMDB doesn't cover them. Sorry Sad

The new fandango and zap2it sites are proving a sod to scrape. Do any of you folks across the pond know of any other sites which have USA/Canada cinema and showtimes info?

well, here there are only 2 cinima chains, AMC and ciniplex odeon. I'm sure that you could get the info off of there sites directly. Also, there is a site called cinemaclock.com, seems to have everything.
