i really like 6 and 2, 3 is also pretty good. im want to change my boot screen etc to the offical logo choosen. this would be fairly easy with logos 1,2,6. 3 would make a cool sticker on the computer.

6 gets my vote is look v. professional. I take the point that it may not scale well and if thats a big problem (could the author show some scaled versions?) then I'd go for 5

Veeery dificult choice, the standard of everyones work on this has been astounding.

I was torn between 3 and 4, but in the end went for 3, solely because it takes up less screen real-estate and is easily buttonised without further wording. I still really love that green power button though... ah well, I've cast it now [Image: wink.gif]

The most professional looking is #3. None of them are bad, except perhaps #4, which looks a little like a "handicapped" logo. On a purely subconscious level, #3 works best because it is the only square one. There are no round TV's.

BTW, I failed to vote correctly. You need to add one more in the talley for #3.

Im suprised you think 3 looks the most professional. Maybe 3-4 years ago but its a bit dated with the shiny bevel etc. Lots of new logos these days are about clean lines and simple colours, hence why I like 5 & 6.

Just think about all the TV station logos you see these days, they are very simple with very few colours as this is the most scalable, identifiable and works best with transparency etc.

Anyway thats my two cents as they say, I just couldn't let everyone vote for 3 as I would feel very dissapointed if its wins.

I must agree.....#3 is the most professional looking. As I said in a earlier post:

I like them all, but the one downside to #3 is the shiny/raised look makes stand out like a sore thumb when I tried it on a skin in GB-PVR. I'd probably need to try a "flat" version of it to see if it fairs any better.

It would make a great case badge though.
