I saw this on one of the other listserves.

Since i have a HVR-4000 which is compatible with DVB-S2 - does this mean it would work?

I suspect i had read sometime ago that GB-PVR might not support DVB-S2 as yet? Am i incorrect?

========================================================
Appears Sky have fired up two DVB-S2 transponders on Optus D1. Sadly I
can't scan them fully as I don't have a DVB-S2 compliant card at the
moment.

12331 H SR 22500 FEC 8/9
12358 H SR 22500 FEC 8/9

12331 is showing 3 HD services
SID 701 = SKY HD Launch 3
SID 702 = Test72
SID 701 = SKY HD Launch 1

12358 is also showing 3 HD services
SID 801 = Test 81
SID 802 = Test 82
SID 803 = SKY HD Launch 3"

There is also a new SD service on 12608 which is probably a promo to
up-sell the HD Service
SID 1205 = SKY HD Launch 1

just a thought !!!

maybe i entered the numbers wrong but i dont get any signal for either 12331 or 12358

As mentioned above, you wont be able to watch the channels, but if you enter the appropriate settings in the satellite.ini file then it should find it.

At the very least it'll be useful for my testing. I'd need to find the 'pilot' and 'rolloff' settings for these sky dvb-s2 transponders though...
