Just a wishlist for the interface that should go way behind the functionality upgrades...

- smooth scrolling menu options so you can see if you are scrolling up or down in those skins that fix the selection on the screen and move the menu items up and down.

- video-type transitions like fade or zoom or page turn between the main menu and sub-menus.

- ability to rename a plug-in on the menu (e.g. change the xrecord name to "my recordings&quotWink

Thanks,
Ben

there is a file called language.xml.ignore (or something like this), rename it to language.xml and edit it using notepad or something, and you can rename the plugins
originalText="Xrecor" translatedText="My Recordings"
(the names are probably wrong,but in the file there are two samples just edit one of those and save it).

thanks Reven.... it makes perfect sense that this would exist since GB-PVR supports so many different languages.
Will try it out...

Why not a MAC OS type of feel when changing the menu, larger print/icon when the seleciton is over (like Hi-Vis skin) but with a smooth feel like the MAC OS does. Probably won't be good on the MVP.

That type of visibility would be easy, if I had any idea what a Mac OS looked like Wink

Are transitions possible on the MediaMVP?

I second this feature request. I downloaded the final release of myHTPC recently (now known as Meedio) and it has those transitions. They look really sweet. GB-PVR is clearly superior in functionality but feels like it's lagging behind in the GUI department.
