I see this come up from time to time. I don't have any reminders configured so never can figure out why I get this.

See it mostly when trying to stream video.

I am using Firefox 3 now and is still happening, but it happened with Firefox 2 as well.

That message is from an Ajax call that continually checks for reminders.

Based off the message you have your web server port set at 8080 which on the wiki it explains to not use port 8080 if you are streaming because that is the port VLC uses and if your site is running on port 8080 then there is a port sharing issue.

I did add a note to the general configuration area on the wiki since this note was only within the streaming area of the wiki.

I changed to port 8080 because my work blocks everything so I wasn't able to access the EWA from there. I will change it though and just have to not access from work. I will connect into my home computer if I need to make any changes to my recordings. Will let you know if I continue to get that error message.

Nope...no ideas....unless they are now not supporting the AJAX.Net library like FireFox 2 did.....the old adage.....upgrades do not always mean things get better.

Edit: I am not seeing this issue in FireFox 3 from any of my machines.

i've got ff3 instaled and ff2 on a thumb drive, and i'm definately only getting it on ff3. weird. reinstalling ff2 seems like the sensible answer.

I have FF3 v 3.01 running on Vista Business 32 bit.....and am not getting the Ajax error....so I don't know what on your machines may be causing that issue.

Hi,

I'm getting this error too.

FF 3.0.1
Windows XP

Does the attached picture help?

Edit: I've just accessed via IE/Mathon and it worked fine without the error !

Thanks
Alan

The GetReminders error is a Ajax callback to the server.

I have been scouring the web and have yet to find any Error 400 issue using ASP.Net Ajax and FireFox 3.

I'll keep looking....if anyone finds anything post it here.
