Yeah, but somehow I think your setup is drawing a few more amps than mine. [Image: wink.gif]

If you use the 'add reply' button, then you can use the attach button.

cwills,

Nice and clean... So the KVM and speaker wires run over to the Silverstone box? How quiet is case and fan setup? I haven't purchased my case yet (as shown in my post earlier) and always willing to find something better, quieter, nicer looking.

d3cypher,

Thanks, keeping it tidy is the only way to keep the wife happy. For cabling I have a shielded video cable, 2 consecutive active USB 2.0 extenders and an audio cable for the speakers. The KB/Mouse are bluetooth with a 30' range. The case and fans don't seem to bother me (or my wife). I have the standard 60mm case fan on the interior rear panel and an additional 80mm fan installed. The optional fan sits underneath the HDD/Floppy cage and helps keep the drives cool. For a P/S I put in an Enermax Noisetaker 470W, which has dual fans and thermostat/rheostat control to help keep a balance between cooling and noise.

I mainly went with this power supply for the separate 12V rails and the extra 4-pin power connector for my videocard, along with the heavy copper-shielding over the ATX power cable to eliminate interference. It was a very tight fit in the case, and my motherboard's (P4C800 Deluxe) ATX power connector was not in a great spot, right underneath the HDD/Floppy drive cage, but it did fit with some effort. I really like the case, it is on the large end for HTPC cases, but I really wanted full-ATX, two drive bays and front USB/Firewire ports. They have a silver model available too. I updated my original post with another pic, I'll insert it here also.

I will post my setup later tonight. I am typing this on a Blackberry! I am at my daughters gymnastics right now, and killing time...

ah the crackberry! heh

The case, cwills, is indeed nice. I have the same requirements for a full ATX MoBo, I think, after chatting with reven on IRC today (shameless plug), that I'm going to go with an Intel Proc instead of my plan of using an AMD proc for my next case. This case will only do PVR work and maybe a small game or too.. most of the editing of videos and burning will happen on the current box (shuttle xpc) doing PVR duty.

Here's my setup... It's between the Sony receiver and the Sony DVD player..

The "entertainment center" itself was made by myself and my dad about... ooh... 7 years ago? yeah, it has been that long... wow... I stained it a year or so ago after a small water problem in my apartment... figured I'd protect it while I could.

I got the case because it looks the least like an actual computer, and it seemed to fit really well with all the other components I had there. The stack of DVD's on the floor and on that top shelf is a result of all the drawers on the right side being full. Drat! Need more space! Also, if you can tell, the wireless keyboard and mouse are under the center, on the right end there. Under the drawers..
