OK, sub, thanks for the time you yook to answer me. I know GB-PVR is freeware and I understand you cannot spend too much time on the project. Its just a pity if this really nice piece of software is unusable for SECAM people.

Hello sub, steen & all !
Let me suggest workaround how it would be possible to make Plextor ConvertX PX-TV402U with GBPVR. At least this method worked for me. So... I forgot to mention that I as well have to use "SECAM_D" - standard that used in Russia and not "NTSC" or "PAL" so it might as well work for France where similar standard used.
First of all - what's causing video/audio problems ? It's I think some kind of bug (?) in WDM drivers for that device. Fore some reason configuration parameters not saved and each time when PC rebooted - it's switched back to default values which for some unknown reason defined for NTSC... (and this drivers were created for devices sold in Europe ! So - what we have to do is to set correct values before we start using GBPVR (capture or preview). To do so I found 2 ways:

1. Difficult one - you have to have ShowShifter installed that got correct support for this device - if you start ShowShifter and then exit it all correct values would be set until next reboot.

2. Easy way (and as well free ! is to use VideoWDMControl utility created by "ASVzzz software". You could download it from this link: VideoWDMControl v2.1

This free software utility allow user to set parameters for:

"Video Capture Filter", "Tuner", "Crossbar" and "TV Audio". Most important in our case is to set correct parameters for
"Video Capture Filter" - select "Plextor ConvertX TV402U A/V Capture" there and then in "Video Decoder" tab set correct "Video Standard" (for me it's SECAM_D&quot, then press "Apply" button and go to "Video Settings" tab where select parameters that you would like to use. In my case settings are:

System: SAA7115 SECAM
Stream: DIVX MPEG4, IPB
Frame Rate: 25fps
Resolution: SECAM SD
Bitrate: Constant 6M

Then press "Apply" or "OK" to save this settings and go back to GBPVR where you will got correct color video and audio settings.

In GBPVR-Configuration application ("Playback" tab) I use "System Default" option for Video,Audio Decoder and Audio Render and as well use "VMR9" - if I change it to "Overlay Manager" - then I can't use TimeShifting TV preview mode.
Hope that this information would be useful.

It might be a great ide to implement something similar to this VideoVDMControl utility within GBPVR or GBPVR-Configuration module - so one could just correct values there in if system change that values - when GBPVR starts - it will used saved values - and correct such problems (if any)...
