Well i just have the drivers and wintv, and i looked for SoftMCE, but only found some old stuff, you have a downloadlink?

Do i have to configure SoftMCE after installing?

Download one of the latest online Hauppauge CD images, the look in the "MCE_soft_encoder" directory.

Ok i installed it, and again i have the same problem, when i enter liveTv screen goes black a few seconds and then i go back to the main menu, i added the logs:

Can you try doing a recording then zip and attach the logs again? Also check if a file gets created.

I cant even get a channel playing so i dont think a recording is possible?
Or is there another way?

Recording is a lot simplier than viewing live tv, so its worth checking.

Go to the tv guide, hit ok on a show, then select 'quick record'

Ok but there is nothing in the tv guide, and to get something in it i need a XML file or something? and i dont know where to get that. or how to get the tv guide filled..
