If there was a hall of fame for stupid, but totally enjoyable pointless threads, then this should be a founding member.

Come to think of it, it does have a couple of points...Wink

If I'd known when I started it I probably wouldn't have started it :p

But it definitely has had a couple of points!

I love the way we've trawled through definitions of Geeks/Nerds and Dorks and had Boobies on the way.

What bothers me is that I can't show this thread to my Wife any more as she will just say 'Told You So, you are a Geek', then accuse you all of being Geeks/Nerds or Dorks for following the thread, and then go back to the TV Big Grin

Maybe the definition of a geek is someone who spends a pile of money and hours and hours setting up the perfect pvr system, only to sit at their computer talking about new mouse pads and never watching any TV....

Well, ok, you got me there, probably old news until I booted her out of the GBPVR client the other night while she was watching TV (after upgrading to SP3 and losing multiple RDP logins). THAT WAS NEWS :o

But I told my wife it cost us nothing and was made up of some old 'bits I had laying around in the attic' Big Grin

Hours and hours? Years and years!

Well I sit at my laptop in the living room tweaking my system and checking that the TV is working with an occasional glance (checking for stuttering/signal loss etc, but isn't that watching it Smile )

As for the mouse pads well my eyes have been opened, out goes the old sensible wrist supporty one, like Reven I'm googling for a boobie one.

True geek test: Who's watching Season 1 again to try to figure out the fifth member of the final five? (If this question confuses you, you're probably not a geek.)

The 5th had to be someone number 6 was in close contact with judging by her shock.

My guess is the deceased is Admiral Kane.
The ex-lover 6 killed.

How's that for indepth Geek Speak? Big Grin
