Hans,

With <updateepg>true</updateepg> you'll get an update immediately, so you won't have to wait for GBPVR to pick it up. I've set my epgupdate schedule in GBPVR to never.

I assume this only works if the EPG is downloaded on the GBPVR server machine?

Chris

That would be the same as rightclicking the gbpvr-tray-icon and clicking update epg. Does your update empty the epg first, like the complete-epg-reload option in gbpvr?

Yep.

I just found out that I should add that option, so the answer is: not yet. I haven't run into any problems yet, though, and I've been running this version for a few weeks now. I'll adjust this sometime soon.

Did you guys notice too that TVGids.nl is doing a very poor job at the moment. Several programs are missing in their listings.
Ned2: 22.50 Uur van de Wolf.
Ned3:20.25 Ranking the Stars.

These I found by accident, so there are probably more. We better keep an eye on our recording schedule.

Today I got a persistent error on NLGrabXMLTV. It just crashes with a Microssoft warning that the application has to close. I got the error on two different machines.
The only thing I noticed is that the sources for 2008-06-30 are much bigger than the one s for the other days.
Do others see the same, or should I start digging in my own setup?

I get the same message. This is what the eventviewer says:

Code:
EventType clr20r3, P1 nlgrabxmltv.exe, P2 1.0.0.0, P3 47ef5825, P4 system.xml, P5 2.0.0.0, P6 471ebef7, P7 6c0, P8 27, P9 system.xml.xmlexception, P10 NIL.

The 30-06 file being much bigger makes sense, it contains 5 days of info while the other 2 only contain info for 1 day.

I was looking forward to using this program but I also get and error which crashes the program. I downloaded the latest file "NlGrabXMLTV_1.0.8.zip". After backing up the config.xml and the dll I replaced the files in the install folder of GB-PVR just like it should. Then I ran the program and it threw an an exception "System.Xml.XmlException". Can someone either tell me what I am doing wrong (if that is the case)?

I'm running WinXP SP2.
