I have an xp box (listed in sig) that was working FLAWLESSLY for sleep/wake up until I upgraded from .9 to .13 pvrx2. After that, it would work about 40% of the time. When it wakes, in .13 I get the desktop for 5 secs or so and it MAY decide to restart pvrx2. Most of the time, I just stay dumped into the desktop. Actually, it's ALL of the time now.

Anyone have any ideas or suggestions as to why this is happening now on .13 but NEVER happened on .9? Any corrective actions (please don't suggest the 15 or so different wake programs and procedures because I'll scream :p ) I mean, if there's an easy program or two that's ok - but what I've read in the past seems to indicate a real pain in the butt to get going.

I take it you mean on your client. Anything in your logs? I've just tried it a few times on mine and get this in the pvrx2.exe-1.log It looks like it has to shut down and restart pvrx2 (and writes a new log for the new startup). It is almost the same for me in standby and hibernate - the pvrx2 screen is blank with no windows borders and then it closes and restarts.

That one above was from a working resume from standby. But it had to shutdown and restart pvrx2 - I don't know if this is normal or not - at least it ends up working.

I rebooted on a separate issue, and now it's working fine  I'll post back when it acts up again.

Ah yes, I find that I have to reboot every few weeks or so, otherwise it doesn't go to sleep.

Strange - when I use to work with Novell and Unix some of the servers had been up and running for many years without needing a reboot.

Then at the end, it just shuts down for no reason.

Those two NOTIFY bits are additional in yours - I wonder if you have the screen saver plugin installed and if that may have an effect. If so, I'd try without it to see if it makes a difference.
