When watching Live TV, the field order is often wrong. Changing channels will fix it fairly often (50/50 maybe?). Getting a fabulous picture, and great that it's playing back with fields, but where should I start looking to fix the field order problem? Is it the gfx card or GBPVR?

there's a MS fix for this...kb919071 but there may be newer fixes nowdays...[like SP3]
i call it the 'seek fix' cuz it usually happens after a seek...

but it also may just be de-interlacing problems...what codec?
i recommend the ati mpeg decoder [avivo] or ffdshow [new builds only, set to output nv12 only and interlaced 'bob' output]

what os?

Sorry, busy week, only just got back to the forums. Thanks for that pBS, I'll give those a go!

Don't think it's deinterlacing that's the issue, pretty sure there's no interlacing happening at all. That's is a good thing, if I can get it to keep the field order!

You the MAN! I'd never have thought of it being a MS thing - that KB fixed it nicely Smile

Hadn't applied SP3 yet, so not sure if it's included in that.
